Hi Everyone,
A group in Vancouver, WA called The Joy Team just put up their 100th billboard in Portland, OR. Here’s a picture of one of their billboards. It reads “Happiness is contagious. Start an epidemic.” All of their billboards are designed to make people smile and to make people happy.
This billboard reminds me of the Hafiz poem:
I caught the happy virus last night
When I was out singing beneath the stars.
It is remarkably contagious –
So kiss me.
Maybe there’s some way that you can share happiness with someone, or make them smile. Maybe take them out to sing beneath the stars.
Our next meditation is Monday Jan. 12 at 6 pm. For 10 minutes we will tune into our power to be a world dreamer. We will focus on sending happiness out to the world and to everyone we know, so that maybe someone can catch it from us.
We will all meet in this space.
