Co-creating with Animals

Since shifting into the new energy recently we’ve developed a new relationship with animals, both wild and domestic. Are you noticing this yet? It’s something I’ve been waiting for and some very interesting things have happened of late.

The first was during a meditative journey in a class I was giving. There were six of us present and we were bringing in a powerful healing energy to share with the world. One of the women in the class had brought her small dog, Charlie, in for the afternoon segment so she wouldn’t be in the car all day. Part way through the journey, Charlie, who’d been asleep on the couch next to me, jumped down and hurried over to a woman across from me. Everyone had their eyes closed, and I didn’t want her to startle anyone, but I could also see she was on a mission. She began licking the woman’s hands. As the journey ended, the woman said, “Charlie saved me. I had flames shooting out of my hands. They were on fire. But Charlie licked the flames away and cooled down my hands.” After that Charlie curled up quietly again.

We were all struck by how she saw something that needed attention and took care of it. This is what animals can do, and in our new space we are going to notice their help. They are working and creating with us. They are seeing their roles just like we are.

A few days later I was telling some new friends about Charlie at their house. They have a dog and two cats. One of the cats does not interact, but lo and behold, that cat came over and looked right at me. The friend was surprised. “My cat is making eye contact. She never does that.” The cat asked if she could jump up on the table next to me. She jumped up and continued looking at me intently, and she was saying something like, “Humans are finally getting it. They are finally seeing what we can do.” A week later, this friend told me his cat’s aloof behavior had completely changed and she was now interacting on a regular basis, even with strangers.

This was exciting to see and it happened at the same new level. And this was the first time a cat I didn’t know was in such direct communication about co-creating.

A few days after that, I was on a walk and stopped to say hello to a neighbor. She told me she was very worried about her grandson. She’d been unable to reach him and thought his phone had been disconnected. I encouraged her not to worry or rush to judgment. As I left her house a raven clucked three times as it flew over–I looked up to see it pull in its wings and do a barrel roll in mid-flight. It was recognition–the raven was saying, “We see you and appreciate all the good work you are doing.” When I got home from my walk, the phone rang. It was the neighbor telling me her grandson called right after I left and all was well–his phone had simply been out of order. She said, “You shifted the energy.” But actually I showed her that she could shift the energy… and create a better outcome.

A couple of days after that I encountered four small birds in the road as I walked. They were totally unconcerned about me and because they felt no alarm, they didn’t fly off. This was new too, and it was something I knew would happen at some point. I’m also hearing several animals talk that never did before–a squirrel, an eagle, a sea gull, a mouse. But maybe I’m just finally able to hear them, their thoughts and concerns and even their desire for connection.

Pay attention to the animals around you. Notice the ways they are interacting. Acknowledge them. Let them know that we humans are becoming new and see if you get any messages from them. IMG_5963

  1. I really enjoyed your story on the animals. I hope to see a lot more. I got a Siamese kitten a couple of months ago. She is now 5 months old and true to the breed, a bit of a nut job.
She was never interested in cuddling. Was afraid of loud noises. If a movie was playing or the laptop made a noise she ran under the bed. Today, all of that changed. She took a nap with me and she has spent a good amount of time laying on my stomach while I am on my laptop. We even watched a whole movie together.
A 360 degree turn about. I have never seen an animal change personalities so quickly. I am also listening to what she will have to tell me because I know she came to me as my helper.

  2. Barbara, thanks so much for sharing this story! This is what is happening now and I am seeing so many examples. It will be interesting to see what you discover about how she is helping you. Animals teach us so much when we are open to learning from them.

  3. After a good shuffle and a fan out on the rug, we let our cat the amazing Maya choose a New Earth card. And she did! She walked over them and then back, then picked one with her nose. She picked leadership, which helps with some “cat issues” that we’ve been having. What a gal!

  4. Tyson, that’s awesome! Thanks for sharing that story. My cat has been putting his special energy into the cards as I cut them and assemble them. He sits on the table in a supervisory position and touches certain cards with his paw. Now I will have to notice which ones he’s choosing! Here’s to cats moving into leadership!
