The Bear Who Came to Visit

A few nights ago I had a dream about a bear, which came into my room and jumped on my bed. In the dream, I covered my head with my blankets to protect myself and the bear left. Yesterday I happened upon a story of a bear rescued from a circus. Curiously, it looked like the golden brown bear in my dream. When he was rescued, he was taken to a bear sanctuary in Switzerland and allowed to be a bear and roam the mountainous area. Last night, I dreamed about this bear again. Once again, he jumped up on my bed and just looked at me. He was big. I felt that I needed to save myself, so I tried to pull the blankets over my head. But I couldn’t move. The bear continued to look at me. Finally, using all my strength, I was able to pull the blankets over my head, which woke me up. And there, under the blankets, I realized there was no way there could be a bear in my room. But this dream was so real I couldn’t go back to sleep. And it was the bear I had just read about and seen in a video, who sadly, as it turns out, died last year. But he had almost 3 years of freedom and was able to discover what it was like to be a bear, to swim in the pond, to forage for food, to hibernate, and to have other bears around him.

Why had he come to see me before I knew who he was? And why had he come again? Why did he sit calmly until I got the message?

In the second dream, I was clearly being shown: it is time to wake up from the dream. It is time to be in your power. It’s time to stop being afraid. There is no more time to waste. In the world of 3D, we learned to be afraid of many things. When we go into fear, we become powerless to connect with our truth or our ability to create. We spend our time being afraid of whatever it is—the dark, spiders, storms, snakes, any number of things. And we protect ourselves from contact instead of realizing we don’t have to be afraid.

Once we move into our power, our perspective changes. We change. I used to be afraid of bees after being stung as a child. But when I moved to the beach, I would find bedraggled bees and wasps on the beach. They’d been blown there by the wind. I would pick them up with a piece of shell, carry them up onto the dune, clean off the salt with some dew from the plants, and then find a flower to put them on. They were patient and calm during this process. Then the most unusual thing happened. They knew me. The collective of bees and wasps knew me and recognized me. I discovered this when some wasps built a home in and around a birdhouse hanging at shoulder level on the front of my house. Several people told me to destroy it. I said, no, they’ll leave when they are done there. One day when I was sweeping the walk, I accidentally bumped their home. My first thought was, oh oh. I stepped back. Out come two wasps and looked at me. They said, Oh, it’s you, and went back inside. It was remarkable. Later, I found a beautiful paper wasp nest in the woods, hanging from a branch. It was so pretty, I thought about taking it. But I touched it first to see if anyone was there. Out came two wasps who looked at me and said, Oh, it’s you. And went back inside. Our relationship had changed. We each knew the other and meant no harm. There was mutual respect. This is the unified field.

A plumber who came to my house years ago had told me that as a boy he tripped on a log in the woods and disturbed a bee’s nest. He fell and the bees swarmed his head. He said, Please don’t hurt me, it was an accident. And they didn’t sting him. He told me, they can sense what your intention is and if you’re afraid. If you don’t plan to harm them, they won’t harm you.

I was reminded of this by the bear’s visit. Don’t stay in your fear about anything. Move past it. Begin to live again. Begin to live your new lives with your new Self. As we do this, we access our power and our ability to create. Today when I went to the store, I was able to create something I thought would not happen for awhile, and it was easy-peasy. It just happened and I was so surprised.

When we make decisions and choices based on fear, we are not creating what is in our best interest. We are following a timeline that does not support us.

I was afraid of the bear in my dream before I even found out why it was there and what it wanted to share with me. What are you afraid of? Why are you afraid? Can you move beyond the fear into your power? Can you discover something about your Self in this process?

We are in a very important time, and we no longer have the luxury of staying in fear we have not examined. It’s time to claim our divine creative power, given to us at this time, in order to create the earth of our dreams and to move into our fully empowered, whole, unlimited, expialidocious Self. The time is now. Are you ready to live as your magnificent, divinely powered creative new Self? Are you ready to enter the NOW moment of New Earth? Are you ready to be in your Heaven on Earth?

The bear in the video I watched, who was born in captivity, had never experienced life outdoors in the wild. When he was released at the bear refuge, it took him a moment to leave his cage. But after sniffing and looking, he stepped out into a world he had never known and began to explore. This is where we are now, ready to leave our confines and find out about this whole New Earth that awaits, as soon as we move into it. It’s up to each one of us to take that step and discover what awaits.
